Recommended Strategy for Ventus Energy’s 8.5% Bonus Campaign

Ventus Energy* just announced a Christmas themed cashback (or ‘bonus’) campaign. Here are the details as well as a calculation of the amount that gives you the highest percentage return.

Campaign Details

• Investment Pool: €5,000,000 available from November 25 to December 31, 2024.
• Bonuses: Earn €50 to €7,500 based on your investment level, credited instantly. This comes down to 5% to 7.5%, plus an extra percent if you’re a new investor who signs up through our affiliate link*.
• Special Rewards: Unlock extra bonuses at €15,000, €50,000, and €100,000 thresholds.
• Eligibility: All manual investments and reinvestments qualify (excluding compounding).

How to Maximize Your Rewards

Go for €15,000 and not one cent more: At that level you get a €1,000 bonus. In percentage that means 6.67%, plus the extra 1% for new clients who use an affiliate link for a total of 7.67%.

If you invest more – e.g. €20,000 – you get a nominally higher bonus: €1,250. However, the percentage is actually lower: 6.25% (or 7.25% with affiliate link signup bonus). This continues until you hit the next milestone of €50,000.

In theory, €50,000 and €100,000 give a bigger percentage bonus: 7% and 7.5% (plus 1%). But that’s a big investment in a very new platform. I’d say pass on those milestones unless your total P2P investment portfolio exceeds €1,000,000, at which point you’re only putting 5% to 10% in the platform.
