Description

Lendermarket is a rather small, but fine platform to invest in consumer loans all over Europe. It is the direct investment platform of loans from the Creditstar group. Creditstar is known as one of the top lenders on the mintos marketplace. Due to this popularity, Lendermarket has grown since its launch in May 2019 to attract around 16.000 investors, having funded around 437 million Euro of loans. With 12-15% of interest, Lendermarket pays attractive returns to the investors. In May 2022, Lendermarket announced a partnership with credory.ee in order to offer also investments into real estate backed loans. Update July 2022: be aware that Creditstar loans on mintos are undergoing a restructuring because of increased pending payments. Potential repercussions should be studied carefully.

It is a guarantee from the loan originator to the investor for a particular loan to automatically repay the investment and accrued interest when the loan is overdue for 60 days. Buyback Guarantees secure all loans at Lendermarket. Group Buyback Guarantee ensures an additional level of protection. It is a corporate guarantee by Creditstar Group, the parent company of the loan originators, which means that in case of insolvency of a loan originator, Creditstar Group will cover all the liabilities of this loan originator that arise from the Buyback obligations."
